The 2011 tornado season was the deadliest, most intense, most destructive, and costliest season ever recorded. These monstrous storms terrorized communities’ day and night, throughout the year. They claimed 553 lives, injured many thousands, and left billions in damages. They were responsible for the permanent destruction of families and communities. Even with modern infrastructure, warning systems, and technologies, these storms were still able to re-write history. And the question is why?
